Thank You for an Amazing Launch Party!

Thank you so much everyone for attending our very first A Billion Dreams Launch Party! We are blown away by the overwhelming support we received in such a short amount of time. It's hard to believe that A Billion Dreams is just three months old, yet we have accomplished so much already. This launch party was a testament to the power of dreams and the incredible community that has rallied behind us.

What is A Billion Dreams?

A Billion Dreams is a non-profit organization founded by Alyssia Jovellanos, a young woman who was diagnosed with aggressive cancer during the height of the pandemic. The organization's mission is to engrave and send the written names and dreams of loved ones on space missions, inspiring them to dream big and reach for the stars no matter how difficult things get.

Our first mission is launching with SpaceX on the Falcon 9 Transporter-10. During treatment, Alyssia often looked up at the sky and found inspiration in space. There's something about space that makes us wonder, dream, and think of something bigger than ourselves.

An Out of This World Space-Themed Launch Party

 

Held at Offworld Bar on September 14th, we had amazing raffles, where lucky participants walked away with fantastic prizes including:

• 2-day wine trip in Napa Valley
• 2 nights at Picton Bay Hideaway

Our incredible DJ Jovie J, whose impressive portfolio includes working with renowned brands like the Blue Jays, Sephora, Ubisoft, and many more, kept the energy high and the room vibing throughout the evening.
